Death Is Beauty

Some are afraid of death, others celebrate it.  I admire it, and fear it, but sometimes it can be seen as beautiful in its simplicity of stillness.  To what this bird may have looked while alive, I feel it is just as beautiful in this state of decomposition.  Although seemingly gross, and creepy, there is beauty in everything.

By simply cropping the upper part and removing the point of horizon from the view, I think makes the photo by far better.  It makes your focus entirely on the bird, and all of its details.  The eye is even drawn to the rocks from which it lays upon.  Not to brag about my own work, but in honesty this is a good photo.
